Vögele line of asphalt pavers provides unsurpassed mat density, smoothness and tractive power – not to mention profitability – for its road building customers. Vögele America, with its sister Wirtgen Group company Joseph Vögele AG, combine to make the name Vögele the largest manufacturer of paving equipment in the world.
Vögele pavers merge the speed and productivity that North American contractors demand with European technologies of better mat smoothness and higher densities at the screed. The result is an unbeatable combination of performance and profitability for our North American contractor and government agency customers.
Vögele pavers are especially well-suited for the new breed of pavement designs now being specified in the United States and elsewhere in North America, such as Superpave, Open-Graded Friction Courses (OGFCs), Stone Matrix Asphalts (SMAs) and hot-mix asphalt Perpetual Pavements. Vögele pavers perform superbly on these new, demanding designs, and you can rely on them to operate predictably and profitably, even as the designs for pavements evolve.
The Vögele line includes four rubber-tired pavers, the 8-ft. 2111W and 2116W; and the 10-ft. machines, the 2219W and the 2216W.
There are two rubber-tracked machines, the 8-ft. 2116T and 10-ft. 2219T.
Among them, Vögele prime commercial-class models are the 8-ft. 2116W and 2116T. The utility-class paver, the 8-ft. 2111W, can do double-duty as a commercial paver.
The SUPER 700 provides a new option for contractors. The SUPER 700 with electrically heated AB 200 V vibrating screed combines highway class technology in a compact package perfectly suited for paving cart, bike and walking paths, confined areas, repair of milled areas, and conventional commercial applications. Unique to the SUPER 700 is the ability to drive through an opening less than 4 feet in width, pave within 2 inches of boundaries, and drive in a footprint of 43 inches!
New in 2007 is the SUPER 2100-2, powered by a 244-hp Deutz deisel engine and weighing 47,180 lbs. Its screed size is a nominal 8.3 ft. but it can pave up to 42.5 ft. wide.
Three Vögele-manufactured screeds are available. They are the HR500E, an electric-heat, 10-ft. main screed with hydraulic-extendable rear-mount extensions; HF400E, an electric-heat, 8-ft. main screed with hydraulic-extendable front-mount extensions, and the HR400D, a diesel-heat, 8-ft. main screed with hydraulic-extendable rear-mount extensions.
